Hesperos Choir will be joined by a talented group of folk and early musicians in performing Christmas works by Charpentier, Theile, and Praetorius, exploring how the composers drew inspiration from the folk traditions of their day. The audience will be transported to France, Germany, Scandinavia and beyond, through atmospheric music in a range of languages, before joining the choir in singing some well-loved popular carols together, with a glass of wine in the interval. ***************************** Hesperos Choir--- Harp: Tara Viscardi --- Viola da gamba: Nathan Giorgetti --- Hardanger fiddle & viola: Sylvia Hallett --- Violin: May Robertson & Flora Fontanelli
